Executive Bio

Dan is a proven business leader, builder and C-level advisor with a unique combination of structured corporate, financial and broad-based entrepreneurial experience. He has successfully guided startup, early stage and small-medium sized companies (and their investors) through key corporate events and transformative milestones. Dan is currently the Managing Director & founder of Ventegy, founder of The Prudent Group, and the lead strategic consultant/coach for both entities.

Dan’s career started with eleven years of rapid progression at Fortune-50 Contel. While there, he attended and graduated from Defense Systems Management College (Government Systems Acquisition) class of 1988-2 as one of ten defense contractors enrolled with 190 elite military officers. Leveraging that deep corporate experience, Dan entered and remains in the SMB space where he has:

• Held a variety of executive positions (Managing Director, President & CEO, CFO, COO, Special Projects Manager, and Advisory/Director Boards)
• Navigated multiple industries (enterprise s/w, internet, technology, Fintech, telecom, marketing, and financial services)
• Successfully led a broad range of transactions (debt & equity raises, M&A, licensing, partnership buyouts/resets)
• Managed multiple companies, including a publicly traded entity (#1 public OTC stock for 3 years running)
